More than just an extender, STRONG signal

Wifi signal is difficult to penetrate through walls. I have a Netgear NightHawk router downstairs and I installed this Netgear extender upstairs via ethernet cable and made it an access point. This Netgear extender reaches all across my second floor, outside to my yard and even overlaps my downstairs router.

Solved my problem

We have an Arris Surfboard modem and router combo. We put the extender in between the room with the signal problem and the room with the router. My Roku reported the signal strength going from “good” to “excellent”. Super satisfied! The price was right too!
