Bedroom was a dead spot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You want to clean up the dead spots of wifi in your house, this beast will do it and overthrow your original wifi even from across the house somehow. I might have to call the authorities if the extender does overthrow my wifi, that's unlawful and I won't stand for it. And don't even try to talk me out of it, no...stop. Get this, it works perfectly

Just what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was previously using Ethernet over Power to get wired connections to a media player, but was unable to stream Blu-ray movies as I wasn't getting enough speed. After putting in the Netgear AC1200, I was able to plug an Ethernet cable from the device to my media player and now I am able to stream Blu-ray movies over the air with no issues.

Great signal boost!

I have a laptop that I use when In not in the house. Also my Son has an xbox one that he uses that is also not in the house but in the detached building. We both have full strength signal and the building is metal. Still plenty of power to punch through the metal siding.

Does the job and pretty stylish looking

It took more finesse than I expected to be able to locate the best location. The 5 G light did not come on, but once hooked up, I c Have an option to log on to the 5G range or the 2.4, so I assume it is working!
