Originally purchased a less expensive extender which did not perform at all. Returned that item and purchased this Netgear - Ac1200 Dual-band Wireless-ac Range Extender With 5-port Ethernet Switch . Extremely satisfied as the whole house is now covered with reliable WIFI.

I needed something to get my Golden Tee Home edition online. Since the Golden Tee doesn't have a wireless built in option I was able to plug the Golden Tee into this and then configure this as a wireless extender.

This does a good job of extending the network better than extenders I have tried to set up in the past. Just remember if the problem is your main router or modem this is not going to do anything to help with that.

This nether wifi router needs some major improvement for advanced users. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad wifi router but needs to be more advanced for its price.

We purchased the router at the request of the salesman to enhance our wifi experience in the house. We could tell a difference right away in the accessibility of the wifi throughout the home. Product works great.

I'm using this in the opposite side of the house and downstairs. This notably helped but I still have internet problems on occasion. For the cost it's 50/50. I think it's worth the boost but some may not.

Our house is very spread out, so we were not able to get wi-fi in certain areas, which was very frustrating! We heard about this device from a friend and decided to try it out... So glad we did because now we get wi-fi in the entire house! Wish we would have known about it sooner!

We had deadspots in our wi-fi coverage. My son was not able to get his computer to connect to the wi-fi from his room. After we set up the range extender, he has been able to stream video. He's very picky and I haven't heard any complaints.

I have a Net Gear Router in my office on the second floor of a 900 square foot house. When I sit on my Farmers Porch, I receive the WiFi signal half the time. I purchased the AC1200 Net Gear Range Extender to improve the signal coverage on the Best Buy Associates recommendation. I placed it in my living room adjacent to the farmers porch where it receives excellent signal from the router. Although the coverage has improved, it is not as strong as anticipated.

I bought this to amplify the Wi-Fi strength throughout my home, and it does its job - most of the time. Sometimes the connection cuts in and out, but that is the only downside. Would have gotten 5 if it blew me away.

I returned this extender for a Netgear AC 1000 router and it is working fine. It was very easy to set up. I didn’t need an extender was the reason for return. I believe it was in wrong place on shelf, hence the pickup by mistake.

I thought I was going to have to return this item, because it just didn't seem to connect to my system. I eventually got it to work and it has been doing very well since then.

I was trying to use this for wi fi and extending my wireless tv box. It works great for the wi fi but wasn't as effective as I wanted for the wireless tv box, the distance was still a little to far.

My main DirecTV needed access to the internet so I bought this as it not only supports the extension of the wireless signal but also offers several ports to plug in and I have DirecTV plugged in and downloading on demand programs quickly

This is a great WiFi extender that allows you to plug in things that require Ethernet cables. I have 500mbps internet and it works just as fast as the main WiFi connection.

I realize it's a range extender. But a modem plug in would have been nice. Other than that is a great extender. A few problems initial connecting, but it's because of my century link router I'm sure.

I tend not to read instructions that come with computer products, but with this one, you need to read the instructions, Once I did, it started working, and I have not done another thing to it. It doubled the range of the cable modem.

I really like this Wi-Fi extender it creates a very wide range in covers a lot of space when installed high as possible. My favorite feature is being able to plug up a printer to the USB and use its air print function to print from my iPhone or iPad.

Up graded my ISP internet speed, distance between router and need for wireless up stairs, signal was weak so I needed a extender this item seemed to meet my requirements so I Purchased.

Love my wi-fi extender. Now i can be in another room and have access to my cellphone and get phone calls anywhere in the house instead of being confined to one area...thanks so much.
