This has great range and was the perfect companion for the Nighthawk router! I have a smart 3D Blu-Ray disc player and it picked up the signal after 2 years and two previous WiFi configuration fails. Of course I can't remember why I needed the WiFi on that device!

Reaches every corner of our house. We do not have the unit centerally located in our house so we opted to buy a wifi extender in order to gurantee coverage. Probably did not need to but some devices needed the extra boost. I would buy this again.

Gf’s parents have their WiFi router in the basement for some reason and the signal isn’t consistent on the second floor. We put this extender in the middle of the first floor and problem solved.

We needed to extend the wireless range of our internet to a metal building on the farm. This unit allows us to connect to our wireless devices when we are inside the metal building where we could not before

This item works just fine. If you are looking to extend your Wi-Fi throughout your home, this will work just fine. The Netgear router website is handy in allowing you to customize network settings.

The Netgear AC1200 is great. We can now get wireless internet all over the house and upstairs too and it was so easy to install. Great product Netgear. Thank you Best Buy for the great service and knowledge.

So far the range extender is doing what we needed it to do, we have a smart tv on the second floor that had slow down load speed and the extender has boosted the download speed.

Had a dead spot in my home and needed an extender. Easy setup and great coverage. Home now is totally covered with great signal. Have a Linksys router that works well with this extender.

My other wifi extender, kept losing signal. So bought this one am very happy. Only slight hitch was finding web site to hook it up manually. Would recommend to any one that needs a wifi extender . Am close to 250 ft from my router

I have had numerous wireless issues since I installed this. I bought it for the newer powerful radios, but they still don't work as well as my old nighthawk. Also the firmware is web controlled, and very basic in functionality. After 2 months of fighting it, I am switching to a mesh network. -- Also i have been supporting computer networks for 20+ yrs, this wasn't an issue of lack of trying.

Before I use this router, I tried with a lower end linksys router and it didn't cover 30% of the area in my small townhouse. After I switched to this router and I can stream 1080p video anywhere. I never need to restart the router. Great product

I bought this unit to clean up the down delays in the house when I am farther away from the main router. It is amazing the difference. I would recommend it to anyone that needs range extension. Great product.

I use it to connect devices in another room to the network. That part works well but it doesn't expand the wifi signal much at all.

I bought the NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender because I was having trouble with the range on my modem/router. This cleared it right up and now have perfect connection within my house.

We needed to add internet service in parts of our home and the "default" setup we had did not fill the bill. An associate at Best Buy helped me decide which way to go/...and he was right. This is a great solution!

I needed to extend my wireless in my 2 story home, since the normal router wasn't doing the job. Adding this extender was right on and I haven't had any issues at all. Great product.

No one has complained about WiFi access since purchase. I did find the installation tricky. The Startup instructions should be written for a first grader if possible.

Seems to be working as advertised. Initial connection was frustrating even using the WPS, but it eventually connected within 5 minutes or so. No issues with it so far.

Seems as I am using more devices in my home than ever before. My speeds were dropping and the far reaches of my home were getting weak signals at times. This unit brought back the quick responsiveness of my families wifi.

I have purchased many devices like this over the years and none of them ever worked. This product IS all it's cranked to be. My connectivity in remote areas of my home is excellent. Highly recommended to everyone!
