the ac1200 dual-band wifi range extender is good simple good for the first wifi extender i've ever bought it is by far the best one ever

My son was complaining about slow PlayStation and I had trouble keeping Netflix going on my iPad. Our router was in the basement an bedrooms were two floors up. Put this in and immediately saw a huge difference.

only buy this if you have no wifi in a place in the house please read all about the extenders online to see if this will help you just a waste of money in most cases

Called Netgear to assist in installation. Once installed on our network, we still could not stream Netflix through our Roku streaming stick. It would work for about 10 minutes then would keep buffering. All support reps could offer was tech support that was an additional $200 for 6 months. The additional cost for tech support was quoted during both calls we made for assistance. I am returning this as soon as possible.

Living in a 100+ Year old home with lathe and plaster walls creates some issues for wi-fi connectivity between floors. The range extender has certainly helped.

Bought to boost our wifi. Works well. Still need to buy more to boost wifi through out the house as multiple floors

works as sold - just recognize there are (2) speed settings and you will need to set each one up to be accessible ... read reviews, faster speed not always the best

Will have to buy Netgear Gateway to have full network function. With standard Comcast router can only connect devices beyond the extender wirelessly.

Once the extender was installed, it is working great. However, the instructions were not so clear for a non-tech person. It took a while to get it working.

The e tender works fine, although it needed to be configured correctly or you would get an ip conflict

This is a great product I bought it to connect to my Arlo camera system. The extender has allowed me to use Wi-Fi in the yard and perimeter of my home and has greatly increased the connectivity inside my Home

Installed downstairs. Cox Netgear modem router is upstairs. Hooked ethernet cable from extender directly to Sony Bravia 950B smart tv. Put downstairs on 5 Ghz. Really works great and solved my dropped signal problem.

Needed better wifi on 2nd and 3rd level of home. This did the trick. It even gave coverage on our back deck and into backyard which we never had before. Pleased with result.

I bought it to augment a Netgear wireless router. It works. In fact, so far it's been pretty good. But the setup is a tad complicated, thus the "4" rating.

This WiFi extender was easy to hook up to my existing WiFi network and provided a large range for coverage in areas around the house and outside that had minimal or no reception. Great product!!!!

I needed to get internet to a new set of security camera system where no cable existed. I used this device to connect to my wireless then plug into the system as a wireless bridge. It worked great.

Bought this to improve the wireless signal in a friends home. So far, it’s been great but I’m still assessing it’s full potential and use.

I purchased this to boost our Intranet at work. It didn't give me the results that I wanted but I think it was because of all the steel and metal in our bldg.

I live in a metal sided mobile and my guests and family visitors stay in a 5th wheel trailer which also has metal sides. My wifi did not pass to the trailer so we got the booster. What a difference. Works great.
