    Garbage, returning tomorrow. Wanted for extended coverage, garbage, do not buy. I tested it in 16 areas of my basement. My router had better coverage than this extender.

    Haven't been able to see all the visual indicators (5 g indicator) but system indicators are that it's working. Decided not to be insulted by the help crew of either best buy or netgear and just live with what I have.

    I purchased this extender after doing some research, and I had good expectations. Set up was easy, however when I moved the extender to the second floor (where I needed the signal boost) it didn't perform well at all. The signal was sloppy, not consistent and very weak. The WiFi speed from the extender was aweful, at times at 10% of what the WiFi speed from the original source modem reads. I even placed the extender on the room directly above the main source router and it didn't help. I ended up returning it. I ended up purchasing an Arris modem/router and hooked up this second device upstairs next to the bedroom TV. Works way better than the extender.
