    Main wifi unit in my house. Put extender in boathouse about 30-40 yards away. Thought id get stronger signal out at boathouse. Not really sure if needed

    I could not get the 2.5 to work. Returned it & purchased Netgear's 7000 Model & it works GREAT. Was able to take it farther & around my Home Theater without a problem. Definitely worth the extra $35 or so. NOTE: I was having problems at first & got a bad # that charged me to fix it,(which they did not). Called again & turned out the first people that charged were NOT Netgear. The second call was & they were GREAT. at NO CHARGE. Be Careful. NETGEAR's help is FREE.
