Wifi Extender

Tried to move and would not connect

It would not connect despite a careful read of the directions, I work with computers but this thi8ng was baffling So I called the techs who asked a bunch of questions and asked to have access to the computer. I was very hesitant but finally agreed after much assurance that it would be safe. The tech ran some scans and said that I had too many connections including some foreign ones. This was surprising to me since I regularly reboot, scan and check for running programs. They wanted me to buy an app to monitor access. It had an initial cost plus a subscription. I hung up, cut off the access, removed their program and rebooted. Not a fan.
