Dual band works great for faster ac speeds. Set up was easy.

When our cable company boosted their Internet speed to 60 mbps, I anxiously awaited the faster downloading but it didn't happen...after calling Charter Customer Service, the tech informed me that my wireless router was too old and slow and suggested a Netgear router. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks to Best Buy! Now our Internet is zooming !

This router is easy to configure and has great performance.

Purchased this after the modem I purchase wasn't throwing off a strong enough single in my home. This was recommended from the sales rep at the store, it was on sale at $100 and it works very well. My modem is located in the basement in the family room and now with the router placed next to it, it allows for better wifi signal in the house.

excellent router, but has problem connecting with Win 10 laptop. I thoght it was outdated driver, but it was actually Windows 10. i would wait until Win 10 is more fully developed, with service packs,, before migrating to Win 10, if you already have this wireless router.

I used to have problems getting my high speed connection with my belkin router. Since, I got this modem I am able to utilize my full speed internet. I highly recommend this product even though its a bit pricey! So far its been 3 months and its going well.

The device activated easily, but it was difficult to customize the settings. The prompts were unclear, I needed the company's tech support. While they were polite and relatively easy to reach, even they had problems with the device. In particular, re-setting the default passwords required three attempts. Once set up, the device worked well. I like the toggle switch for the WiFi antenna, which allows me take the device off-line--good protection against hacking when it's not in use. However, the physical shape of the device is inconvenient. It's flat like a video screen, quite large (a 7.3 inch square), and does not conveniently sit on a narrow shelf. The user must stand it up face-on because the indicator lights are all on the front and all the connectors face directly rearward. Yet the power switch is on the back and the antenna switch is on the side. Altogether this is a clumsy design.

Easy, quick setup, and works great in our small two-bedroom apartment. We haven't noticed any issues with signal around our place, and appreciate the compact design that fits nicely in our tv stand.

This is the best router I've had so far. My previous routers were always weak and disconnect all the time. This one is perfect for a medium to large house without any problems. Easy plug and play setup.

I, bought this router for my father in law for a fathers day gift. He is not tech savvy., but was able to install and setup rather easily. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a mid grade router that was easy to install and easy to use. Security features are also very easy to setup and use. Happy fathers day

It was a good option considering I wanted to keep modem and router separate according to lot of online reviews. It was perfect for a three level condo if that helps.

Dual band, pretty good range throughout the house Easy to set up basic functions, always fast and reliable it is much faster than my old reliable router cisco the dualband makes Interference almost impossible.
