The router gives a great signal and handles many devices at the same time without lagging. The range is a little lacking though. I have a 2 story home and it will reach all of the rooms in the house without dropping a connection but as soon as you move out onto the deck the signal decreases in intensity with each step.

Great router... Great range and signal strength...

My experience with this product is that I have the soon to be defunct Clearwire service. It does okay but again I feel it is the Internet carrier I have. I'm also in an area where trees are a factor. When everything is aligned great stream little or no buffering. In transition to seek another internet provider.

From start to finish overall great product. Installation was very easy, just had to hook it up and it took care of the rest. It's got a nice sleek design, just a very great product had it working for two months now and NO issues at all.

First time replacing a router myself. Easy set up for me. Instructions walk you through the process. No problems using it. I set it up with all WiFi access for all my devices, easy. Devices have no trouble finding and keeping a connection no matter where I am in my home. ( 3 story home with a basement).

Works better than I imagined. My internet wasn't meeting my expectations, but switching to a faster speed meant spending more money. We decided to give this router a try. The only thing we regret is not buying this router sooner. It definitely made our internet way faster. I highly recommend it.

Installed easily, improved my connection with cable. ( Cable modem, Charter, previous had yellow link signal, went to green with NetGear). Unit broadcast stronger signal for smart TV and hasn't lost signal yet. Linked phones in WiFi 5G mode they receive at 100mps with strong signal throughout house.

This wireless router works very well and has good speeds. However, since switching out the previous Netgear wireless router, our Samsung Smart TV (which I thought is even hard wired into this new router/the modem) no longer works with the internet and can't find this wireless router during a search...

My previous router didn't work well in our house with the distance from many devices. When it died finally, the folks at Best Buy walked me through a few options and recommended this one. It was very easy to install and connect to all devices. It provides a much better signal to all.of our sevices.

It's very fast and handles everything in the house easily. This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a router that would work with a booster to hook up an old, hardwired computer in the basement. The signal was strong, and the speed there is quite fast (for an old computer).

Not a "techy" person, so the quick and user friendly installation/set up process was much appreciated. Not a gamer, so this modem has been more than adequate for my web browsing and Netflix streaming needs in a small apartment.

I'm no expert at all. It was easy to set up (which is important for me) and has worked seamlessly ever since (about 2 months). Not sure what else I could ask for. I don't really notice any difference between it and my previous 10 year old router, however, so can't give it an excellent rating.

I bought this because the sales personnel at all the other computer stores I priced compared at said that Netgear and Linksys were the best. This works great and set up was easy.

Decided to purchase this wireless router after my old one kept losing connection with my modem. Since purchasing this router I have not lost connection any longer, have noticed faster web page loading, and better video playback when streaming videos through netflix. Great product.

This router works much better than my previous router and is a real breeze to set up. Plug it in and away it goes. Speed seems to be excellent and the range is good in a pretty large house.

I had an older Netgear, and it stop working, decide to upgrade since we moved to a bigger place. This one has a longe range and works fast, and the signal is great

I purchased this router and a Netgear modem in order to avoid paying the monthly fee to Comcast for a so-so all in one router/modem. This unit was easy to set up and works great. If you have the Comcast Triple Play plan ensure that you get a modem that accommodates telephone service!

Okay so we have 2 xbox one's and a ps4 running along with 4 tablets 1 laptop 6 cell phones and a few other things. And this router does all this very well. Was thinking about getting the next model up but this works well.

Was having issues with my ISP provided modem/wireless router and bought this to replace the wireless. It was very easy to set up and configure. The NetGenie app is a nice addition but sometimes the mobile app won't connect to the router. Other than that, it serves my needs very well.

The Netgear AC1600 Router has decreased my time at the desk. The speed that I picked up over my prior router is exceptional. This item was recommended by a store employee and it was definitely the correct choice.
