I bought this because I had too many devices on my previous router and it could no longer give me a consistent signal. I was steered twards this router and was told it could handle a lot of devices connected at one time and it definitely does live up to the expectation

I have network technology experience but I am not an expert. I was looking for a higher speed router with added security. I found the Netgear AC1600 Model R6250 product was easy to setup for immediate use of the basic features. After reviewing the documentation I also took advantage of incorporating some of the security features to our network with ease. The only recommendation I have is to make sure you understand your network needs such as speed and security to ensure this device will work with your current network technology. You may have to upgrade your hubs and/or switches maybe even your wiring.

Great upgrade from my older wireless G router and pretty easy to set up. Like the network feature as part of Netgear Genie to be able to see all the different devices trying to access the router - didn't realize all the items trying to squeeze in on my old routers limited band width

Thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. Had to upgrade the very old one we had. This one has worked superbly since I installed it. Love the app that comes with it! Also has guest access option. Password easy to change for each portion of the router. Works great!

We bought this brand because the Best Buy employee helping us recommended it. It has been worth every penny we spent. Now we can be online with the desktop computer, my laptop and two cell phones and nobody gets kicked off anymore! Only wish we had done it sooner.

Got this to replace my previous router. Easy to configure and I like the mobile app that allow you to configure it from your phone. Certain areas in my house don't have as strong a signal as I got with my previous Netgear, but it could be placement. All in all, it works well.

This router has worked very well for my home WiFi network. The initial setup was a bit tricky for me but finally was able to get everything connected. My neighbor (across the street) can detect it, so the range is easily 200 feet. More than enough to cover my property.

I have installed well over a 100 WiFi Routers over the years. Just about all the major brands. Netgear is hands down the winner. Easy to do a basic setup, but just as easy for those times you have to do advanced work. I also love there line of WiFi extenders.

i bought this to replace my Linksys Wi-Fi router. (it was just old not bad). I like the ease of setup but found that signal strength was a bit week in a large older home. ended up buying a second one because the has built in features to set up as a slave access point.

Router works as advertised. We have a large house so there are some spots where the signal is not as strong. We have it in the center of our basement and are considering bringing it upstairs to see if that helps. Very easy to set up and manage. Overall happy with it.

While the smart phones changing from wi-fi to data was very annoying and costly, and led us to make this purchase, the dual band router has increased speed of the six computers we use to run a home-based business. We are very happy with this make and model.

This router is in a fairly small apartment, so I can't judge distance, but the signal strength has always been strong regardless of which room I'm in or what device I'm using. No sudden buffering on my AppleTV like my previous router occasionally did.

I've used many routers before and this was one of the few I used that was so easy to install. No band width lost especially with 50+ Mb/s. Nevertheless, you can find it cheaper on line like about 50% cheaper. I got it because I needed it ASAP. Not sorry I did.

I had a Belkin router that was a fail.... always had to be reset... We only got 1.2 mps with the Belkin on Netflix... After installing the Netgear router(by the way was very easy) we got 25-30 mbps.... Well worth the upgrade! Yipee.... I recommend it!

I wanted a router that would give a decent range within a multistory townhouse. The Netgear fills the entire 3 bedroom (3 story) townhouse and even extends outside into the front & back yard. Setting up the 5G frequency is the best way to max out the speed.

My home is on three levels (main, basement, upstairs). I needed a router that could be placed in one location and people in different locations could use the internet. The cable dude recommended I not use theirs but obtain a more powerful one. This works!

This was a router I purchased for my dad. He was running on an old router and the signal kept dropping. This router was super easy to get started and hasn't dropped a signal once. The multiple channels and guest network also make life simpler!

Our first purchase of a router as we've returned to the USA having lived abroad for 9 years. Best Buy staff gave excellent advise based on our needs and the router provides a signal sufficiently strong to reach all rooms of the 3 story home w/o a booster..

Old router was not capable of communicating with my new Xbox One, so had to replace ( it was 4 years old anyway). This one has dual-band technology, so it will handle different devices on separate channels at the same time. Signals nice and strong.

My house is 2400 sq foot & 3 bed rooms & 1 master room. Router is located in master room down stairs and it shows great performance when I am in the bed rooms & bath room upstairs. Even out side of my house it is working great. Strongly recommended
