    Got this hoping to replace an old router but found it to be slower than my 5 year old netgear router. Returned to store for refund. I pay for fast internet so my son can game and this router slowed everything in the house down! Granted we do have about 10 connected devices, so this may work better in an apartment setting with only one user.

    It says dual band but if my son is playing on his playstation and I stream on Netflix, he will start to lag and can't play anymore!!!

    I recently switched from a telephone company provided internet service to a cable company provided Internet service. The cable company provided a free modem and I needed a router to have the wireless internet in my home. This router provides 4 Ethernet connections for hard wired connections and the wifi has an excellent range inside and outside of my home. I am thoroughly pleased with its performance.
