If you're looking for a good entry level model router this will work well. It has gigabit Ethernet which some of the cheaper units do not. Without gigabit ports you have a router that is functionally obsolete out of the box.

I got a large home, and plenty of devices. The standard xfinity router was not strong enough for the range and power our house needed, so after some reviewing we got this, and so far II is doing the job

Comcast recommended that I buy my own router because I was having so many problems with their system. I bought the netgear router because it was recommended by several people, but I still have to sit right in front of it to get service and sometimes that still does not work. I still think it has nothing to do with the router but with my Comcast service, but their technicians can't find the problem. So, the Netgear router is probably a very good product but personally I haven't been able to tell yet. Grrr.

i switched from linksys to this and it’s has been some much easier. linksys customer service was a joke. so i made the switch to net gear and everything has just been better

Moved to Wisconsin and had to get a router for Charter, Associate in store helped me with this purchase.It does exactly what it says, my internet connection is instant and my phone works great!

It's ok for now. At the beginning it kept crashing. One of broadcast names won't work but haven't had the time to figure it out.

This was my second wifi piece of equipment. It literally installed itself and has a great signal focused on where in the house I am. Would buy it again and it didn't ruin my expenses for the month.

At first this seem to be a very good product but then it began losing connection with cable modem. Called support they fixed it by changing settings or so we thought. Four weeks and same problem this time support reset router to default settings. Didn't work out. Tried changing out cable modem that worked for a week then back to same issues. Talked to both modem and router support. Each blamed the other. Finally took router out of network loop. All fixed now no issues for 2 months. Put router back into network issues reappeared. Took out again no issues. Last 2 Netgear Routers not working. Got 2 paper weights for $400.00.

A little disappointed with the range - expected better compared to the N300 it replaced. Also would have liked better instructions in setting up the second band. Over all works great - still love Netgear products

This product by Netgear is excellent for home networking! This is my second Netgear router; my first lasted almost three years. When the time came to get a new router, the choice was obvious....

Upgrading from an old netgear that worked for about 7yrs to this. This will all sudden dropped out and connected back (multiple times a day) Not good enough for my needs. Returned it and bought something else.

We purchased this router to replace a Motorola combination cable modem and router that went bad. The set up was super simple and the wifi signal was as strong as advertised. Very please with this purchase.

This router handles multiple devices by portioning out among them instead of giving all the bandwidth to the first device that demands it. Great for multiple computers plus smart phones and TV's.

Used this as a second access point with fios modem/ router. This router gave better and more consistent speeds than he fios router

I was told this was the best wifi. But i have had to call 4 different times for tech support. The last call i was informed if she fixed it it would cost me 99$!? That i was 11 days out of my warranty. I'm dissapointed since i JUST bought it to have so many issues after just a couple months?

Had problems with my router and bought this one and it works great. Staff did a great job providing me info on different routers and this one worked best for us.

I called tech support at the manufacturer. He walked me through the steps and helped me reset a lot of my devices that were connected to the WiFi. It was a smooth and quick process.

I love this router. It took only minutes to set up, is lightning fast, and has a great range. I can connect several different devices without any drop outs. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

We changed carriers for our phone, internet, and TV so I purchased this one rather than paying them a monthly rental fee. It was a good choice. This one works great for our needs.
