Overall this seems to be a pretty good piece of equipment, but, I could not find any option to combine the 2G and 5G networks into one. It would be good if this device could handle that and could also automate some of those things to ensure the best frequency is used based of different range and device conditions.

I had no idea what to get but was pointed in the direction of this router. At any time in my house there are several phones, a couple ipads and at least 3 tvs streaming and I haven't had any issues with buffering or slow speeds... I do so love to get exactly what I want and for a good price

Got this router to replace an older one that constantly dropped internet signal. It’s been 3 months and not a single problem to speak of. The signal is so much further than the old router. I’d definitely recommend for a lower cost choice.

Very easy and quick to set up, wifi reaches all over house and in much faster for netflix I would purchase again

For the extent of my range (40 ft) the 5g is the way to go. Much better than the internet provider AC wireless!!

I finally had the time to install my new Netgear router over the weekend. Outside of one or two glitches in setting up the network that I finally figured out, things went well. Still waiting to see if this helps with streaming, and can handle the 7 devices that are connected to it, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating

I have installed this router in multiple apartment and individual homes. Set up is simple and the range is excellent. The Genie software is very good for monitoring who is on the network and the status of the router. Firmware upgrades are a one button push. Great all around wireless router.

this came highly recommended to help out with the number of people using the wifi. works very good.

Thanks to the app that you are directed to use. Even a technophobe like me can get things working in a manner of an hour or two. Beats paying more that the price for an installer to traipse through the house and make you wait. Thanks

Fast transfer speed. Netgear never fail you. I've had this on for months and never had to restart it. Network never went down. draw 500 - 800GB monthly data with this. you can guess how heavy I've using it. Love it. I would recommend buying one of this.

I had no need for the newest ultra high speed wireless (most folks don't actually if you look at the numbers) so this was more than adequate for my needs. It performs well and as less than bleeding edge was a good value. It also had some of the advanced user controls that I needed (static routing e.g.)

The net gear is very reliable...and consistent, and that is what we needed for Wi-Fi and streaming

This router was a replacement for an old Netgear router. Setup and configuration were straightforward. This router is supported by the Netgear Genie software which I also highly recommend. It's a free download and provides some useful tools for router and network management.

Our family is connected to the internet with far too many devices, and this router handles the traffic with ease.

All over all very solid router. I would rate it 4.3 to 4.5 (For me to rate something 5 it would have to be guaranteed longevity of performance) I bought and installed about 10 of them so far. My concern is longevity but only time will tell that story but if it is like most of the other NETGEAR things that I buy router should last 4 to 5 years. I will start with good things. LAN performance is good and solid, 2.4GHz is very stable so far no problems, easy to configure and easy to understand even the advanced things (at least for me) bad part: reboot takes long time and 5GHz wireless network not as stable as I would like it (drops some time and a bit of sluggish on 3 out of 10 that I have installed so far) The only router that has very solid performance on 5GHz so far is Ruckus however the price difference is enormous All over all for the price you get very stable and easy to configure router.

This product was easy to set up and came with extremely user friendly instructions for installation. The AC1750 delivers extremely fast WiFi and I had no idea how much I was missing out on prior to purchasing a higher quality router! Absolutely love it and would recommend it!

Signal strength is excellent. Easy to install and use.

I have TWC and purchase this router after a speed test. TWC equipment is old and slow. This router gives you the dual option to go the 5ghz which is less traffic less congested. It is faster and much a better connection of course much better than TWC equipment. This was a upgrade to be sure.
