I tried to put the big router into the closet to save the space, but worried about the signal strength. It turned out the signal in different rooms, even in garage downstairs, is great. I am very satisfied.

This is pretty good router the 5g drops now and then but overall I would recommend it

This is an awesome router. I like the fact I can limit my kids time with the Disney my circle. I can shut it down to the whole house at a certain time and set a time to turn back on. Range is good not great but it gets the job done!

... doesn't keep dropping out. I called my internet provider of the issues, and they immediately blamed the router, and then the modem. It was neither, but only their shotty service. How else does the problem just fix itself? I didn't have to get a new router or modem or update any firmware. Their network clearly had issues. Aside from that, the router works well in my home, I get full coverage WiFi through out my entire house now (1900sqft), plus about 3/4 in the garage and outside around the house. I'm happy with my purchase, and the router is working great, no interruptions or disconnects for the past few days. Meaning my internet provider is working properly now, which has made my router perform properly.

Our old router (also netgear) conked out and I had to get a new one on short notice. This is not the model I would have chosen, but was limited to what BestBuy keep in stock - which is just NetGear. It's a higher end one than my previous, and does seem to have a slightly better signal. Ultimately, you just want the router to disappear. WiFi should just work and keep out of your way otherwise, and this router does that. I don't like the Genie software though, the web interface is not intuitive so you have to hunt around for settings, and the Genie app is limited to basic functions only, really irritating. I wanted to try a different brand, which BestBuy do carry but online only. However this model was on sale so I got a good price.

Great addition to our office to offer wifi for customers

This was an easy setup router and will cover all my needs of just emailing and general surfing. Probably too much but better more than not enough and ready for expansion.

We live in an older house with plaster walls and a service entrance for our internet in the basement. We had tried an extender but streaming was a problem. As soon as we bought this everything sped up dramatically for us.

I have owned cheaper routers in the past that had Trouble going from room to room connection. This reaches outside my apartment and can only imagine how well it will work when I’m back in a house

I don’t know much about these types of products but my son does who is way more technologically advanced than I am. He set this up without issue and so far no issues.

Super easy plug and play setup. Router was easily identified and setup on the network. Easy interface. Unit looks space aged and with all those lights blinking, it looks like a UFO in my dark closet....now that's a cool effect
