Should have bought upgraded model

Hard to setup.

not sure its worth it

Unable to install and unable to get support!

So, I cannot really offer a review because I have unable to get assistance without paying a third of the cost of the router fora technician to come out and install it. So, it’s pretty much been a waste of money for me.

Horrible UI & Slow Speeds

No way to control devices by time periods without downloading seperate aps which are non-intuitive and difficult to use. Menus are complicated and features highly visible on other brands take some searching to find - and that's assuming the features are available without downloading yet another app. Add to that they NetGear has the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with (because they'd never respond - at all) and this router is the absolute worst router I've ever owned in the almost 20 years I've been using routers. With COX Communications my 300 Mbs speed which on my previous router ran a solid 350 Mbs runs between 160 and 250 Mbs. Went back and forth with cox because the AC 1750 is what they recommended. Eventually I just switched back to my ASUS router and got back the 300 Mbs service I was paying for. I will never buy NETGEAR again. Do yourself a favor and get an ASUS router.

WiFi lag
