Many appreciate the router's reliable coverage and its suitability for streaming. Signal was not strong enough. I would have needed a wifi extender to use in a small space.

This router worked great for two days, then no longer produced a signal for devices to connect to. I ended up returning the product for the netgear nighthawk. I will mention that the set up was easy.

I just bought this for my 1400 square ft home And I don’t get the range It should give me, my internet company told me im getting half of what I should be getting. They recommend for 2 story home a 3 tower router. They called it the a mesh router?

I bought this to replace an older single band router that had a weak signal. I was better off with the old one, at least it didn't drop the signal every ten minutes. And my speed is worse than it was before. I pay for 100 mps and average about 45 mps with every speed test. Pretty sure this is going to go back soon.

I can't believe I wasted money on this router. It had decent reviews and I've owned Netgear routes in the past with little to no issues. Every device that gets used has a difficult time staying connected. Wifi is turned on, shows strongest signal possible yet nothing will load. The Netgear Genie app is kind of a joke too.

***buyer beware*** As of last firmware update this router is no longer able to adjust the transmit output power in the software. netgear has deemed this feature to be of no use and is slowly and quietly removing this feature from all of its wifi routers. this is per their customer service. Why is this feature important? Not sure about the rest but i do not want my signal any further than i need it to go. if neighbors want internet they can pay for it not leach from me. next step for this unit is the TRASH BIN. as it is no longer of any use to me without that control. sorry netgear should have left it alone because now you lost a multi year multi product loyal customer. off to ubiquity..

I had to pay Best Buy, after I had bought the router, to come out to my house and install it, even after my best efforts. I was a computer programmer for 40 years but I couldn't get it to install. Once I put it online, I couldn't get to any of the web helps, because I couldn't get to the web anymore.
