Intermittent connection at best

This modem is advertised as a gaming modem to do just what I needed it to do--increase my connection speed; however, the connection is so slow on this router, that it would struggle most of the time to even load my Facebook feed on my cell phone. My overall speed decreased, and the connection is intermittent, so my connection would all out drop on all devices in the home regularly. I have since switched back to my router I received from the internet company because it is more reliable and provides faster WiFi speeds. DO NOT spend $150.00 on this router--it's terrible.

Short-lived

Updated firmware a couple times but still connection to the internet would completely drop and could only be restored by power cycling the device. Eventually by around 9 months it failed completely. Returned for refund

RETURNED IT !

The lines dropped twice in the middle of a discussion I went back to Linksys.

Worked great for just over 9 months...then RIP

It worked fine at first but now 9 months later, it stopped working. I performed all the trouble shooting methods to no avail, the unit is defective. I purchased a 2-year Geek Squad Protection plan which is absolutely worthless as you can't even make a claim for repair or replacement (don't waste your money on that add-on.) I purchased a replacement router from another company and am back up and running (and much faster to boot.) Again, AVOID Geek Squad Protection at (literally) all costs.
