Unreliable product and worthless customer support

Using the tablet was like watching paint dry and watching Netflix is out of the question. Since it's still under warranty, I contacted Netgear but was told I had to pay $49 to troubleshoot. A very limited warranty indeed. Don't waste your money on this or any other Netgear product.

Would not work

I reconnected my previous router and everything worked fine. The Netgear support person Suggested I return the router to the store. I did and store mgr would only give me a store credit unfortunately!

But also learned that this router needs internet to configure it and you can aonly access thru the manufacturer wesite. If you type 192.168.1.1 or any other common router address on your browser, you won't log in

cannot make Ethernet/wired connection to apple TV

On hold for a couple hours with Netgear customer service and then disconnected. Others have had this same problem. Disappointed as I purchased one of these for my sister last year but hers fortunately works okay

JUNK!!!! Very Bad Customer Service

I will never buy this Brand again....

Great Product! Fixed WiFi Drops

As a college student, I need to have stable internet for most of my online classes, so I needed to look for a different router. Fortunately, I was able to join the family and friends program for NETGEAR, and received the r6400 for free. Once I plugged it in, I has immediately able to connect all my devices without a drop in speed. So far I have not had any signal lose as well! This is a great product and I highly recommend it if you are looking for something to fix signal lose.

Don't do it

There were multiple reviews on the app about it crashing, so I know I wasn't the only one.

Even with a firmware upgrade, still kept dropping. I eventually had to switch to another model because it was getting so frustrating!

Price is worth it but..

I bought a Google Nest and everything was set in matter of minutes, of course price makes a difference but..

Router Smoked

This time it failed for good after I upgraded the firmware. Puffs of smoke came out. I would not purchase another Netgear router.
