    Stopped working after 4 years

The speed of this router greatly diminished by year 4. I tried factory resetting it, updating the firmware, and using new cables, but nothing fixed it. It was a fine router when it was working, but I’m disappointed that it has gone so downhill, especially since my previous router (Linksys) worked for almost 10 years and was only replaced because it was outdated. Time to try a different brand…

Works great, but install is not as easy as many ha

After several times trying to install this router, I went back to the store and asked for help from some one in the Geek Squad, Jeremy. He suggested removing all the wires from the modem and the router and waiting for ten minutes. I waited over half an hour to be on the safe side. The one thing different than the instructions was to also remove the coax cable. That was it. Has worked fine ever since. Main reason for the new router was too much streaming movie buffering from my g router and n extender. Now I am getting a better signal for both pc and movie streaming.

Very fast and simple set up. It took 5 minutes. The best part is the reliability and speed. I have used other devices, but this one has the most reliable connection and carries a long distance. I have no problem throughout the house. Awesome

Using this in a 30 year old house, 1900 sq. ft. Works well in every room. Also, getting decent speeds in the backyard. No drops so far, connection has been solid. I usually run 9 devices or so and most of them are connected at all times.

    Great home router!

Purchased this to replace my old Cisco AC router, and I'm VERY happy with my purchase. Setup was easy... had all of my devices connected and running smoothly in minutes with a 25% increase in internet speeds over 5G. The router instantly recognized my USB 3.0 drive when attached, and I'm getting very fast file transfer and streaming from the drive. I also love the Genie app for my phone. It allows easy local or remote management of the device. All in all, a great product for the price range.

My internet connection has been improved with this new wifi connection. I'm happy with this purchase. Had little difficulty downloading genie app on Mac but looked up the way to bypass this issue. Over all not much of a problem.

So far so good, BUT setup via web URL.....

So far so good, BUT set it up via the web URL listed on the bottom of the router. The paper inside the box tells you to use the app, so I did. The app failed all 3x at the firmware update, it basically hung up with a spinning wheel of death. I finally noticed the URL listed on the bottom of the router and set it up via my PC (where they actually give you a status bar on the firmware update). Please save yourself the time & aggravaiton and just go straight to the website setup. I bought this router to replace my Belkin AC1200 that I've had for at least 6 years and was inconsistent with wired LAN speed. With this router, things seem to be so far so good. The real test will be when I spend a full day of work connected working from home. If I don't post any updates then all is good.

Purchased mine yesterday from Bestbuy due to really good reviews. Setup was super easy. Loved the router and the speed. Less than 24 hours after the purchase the router stop sending WIFI signals. My PC that is connected to router is working fine but NO wifi. Called Help desk who transfer my call to a 3rd party help desk. It is been few hours and I am still waiting for the wifi. Only gave 1 star cause I could not give any less.

    Another Quality Netgear Product

This was purchased to replace my old Netgear WNDR 3400 which was still performing satisfactorily, but we moved to a faster connection. Installation was quick and easy into our existing network. We were happy with the performance of the old router and feel confident that the new Netgear unit will also serve us well. So far, so good!

    Eliminates Signal Drops-Steady and Fast

Bought this router to replace an older Belkin (that still works okay with but limited range and signal quality) Right away I was getting more broadband and a steady, solid signal. Eliminated drops and interruptions. Extended range with a better-faster download and video quality as a result. I really like the menu control over which devices connect, when and what frequency.

I was blessed with Spectrum 65mbs internet but needed a router upgrade. After some time I found this one at Best Buy. It provides great wifi coverage for my entire home. The wireless 5g band maintains peak speeds at 60mbs. All wired connections maintains 65mbs and shows no lag when multiple devices are on the network. would recommend to anyone, Wish price was a little lower, lol. I guess you get what you pay for...

was fed up with verizon fios' rental fee, especially with them increasing it to $12. unplugged theirs and plugged the netgear in. setup was simple but had to call verizon to realease ip and then renew. no resistance from them, guy was cool and had a similar netgear too. apparently IT nerds approved! cool mobile app and remote management feature! great range on wifi.

I had a router that was about 10 years old. I not a real big "techy" but after doing some research on why my printer was being "funny" I figured I would try a newer router and hopefully that would solve the problem I was having. Sure enough, it worked. I purchased this one and it was way easy to install and has worked great. Even if you aren't real "techy" you will be able to work this bad boy.

Purchased this after moving in to a two story home where wifi coverage was limited due to my previous 9 year old netgear router. No issues with this one.

I searched long and hard and found this router. I read all of the reviews and it pointed to a few and included this one. By far this has been my best router yet. I constantly have 6 devices running at all times and not one hiccup in service. Mind you a couple of those are running Netflix and one is running DirecTV. I have been very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

Had some trouble getting the AC1750 set up, NETGEAR Tech Service was great and very patient. Turned out it was an ISP issue. Once the ISP gave me the proper DNS address, it works great. Pulling faster internet speeds than I ever imagined possible. I am told that it will not work with Comcast so check that out with the Geek Squad before you buy.
