Seems to have improved my speed from the router Spectrum provided. Only issue is it won't successfully update for some reason.

This has been working for 6 years and is extremely reliable!

This is this the best wireless router we have had in awhile. Easy to troubleshoot any issues. Has good signal range.

The manual said to start up a browser and it would automatically connect with the router. It did not. The manual said if no connection, type http://www.routerlogin.net. Still no connection. I had to go online to find out I need to type the router IP address 192.168.1.1 in order to connect. I also have to type the same IP address into the apps I downloaded for my phone in order to make the apps connect to the router. After doing that, all my devices can connect properly and the router works fast.

This is a great little router at a very nice price. It gives you pretty much everything you need. You can even setup a guest Wi-Fi network using this bad boy. Great reception all over our 2-story home (even outside on the back porch). Just be sure to place it in a spot near the center of your house and use the antennas. Where you point them MATTERS!

This was easy to set up and it worked first time. My TV is on the other side of the house. The signal was strong

I'm IT challenged, but I managed to get it to work, :) Good coverage throughout my house and yard which is what I was looking for.

I have had this a few days now. I have 10 devices on it and does not seem to slow down. This is a Great Router

Love the My Genie app and the fast speed. I wish the time cut off worked for the network but may be an update will fix it.

We weren't sure we could install our own router, but we followed the directions and it works great!

Able to get great signal in attic bedroom and mainfloor from basement. Great router for the price

After a week it started dropping Internet connection on a regular basis. After call to Netgear support then to Time Warner then back to Netgear I am returning it. I am not going to buy something that stops working properly after a week. Looks like need to start shopping again. Anyone have have recommendations besides a Netgear?

upgraded to a new and faster router. Works great with two amazon fire stick in the house.

Bought this last Wednesday. It's not plug and go as advertised. 1st call to netgear, couldn't understand the rep to save my life. My internet provider walked me through the installation. Once I was up and thought I was running, it drop connectivity every 30 minutes. I called netgear, AGAIN different guy, but couldn't understand him. I was getting frustrated cause he took me to a log in site and whatever he did it changed my home browser. I was so irritated, the man hung up on me. I filed an on line complaint for assistance with my router. My first case was closed because they said I already had a case #. SO--I started sending all my issues in and it's been a week and haven't gotten any support at all. I sent e mails, posted on their facebook page and NOTHING. WORSE ROUTER EVER. Poor customer service. I should have know not to buy it because Linksys was sold out and there were tons of Net Gear. That should have been my first clue. DON"T BUY this router

This router had a very good range and worked well. Then suddenly after using it for 3-1/2 years, stopped working and wouldn't accept the passcode I had been using since purchase. Stated that it needed more information. No phone support available after 90 days unless I paid for a $89 service contract.

Nighthawk app is very confusing; designed by network admins - not for JQPublic. App stopped logging me in one day. That's it - you can't get in any more. Concurrently the router evidently had crapped out after less than 2 years. Some devices (that had been connected) couldn't re-connect any more. Linksys replacement router is FAR superior in terms of: manageability (app), strength of signal, ease of setup (as if any router setup is really eeeeasssy - not). I will not buy any more Netgear stuff.

Have anywhere from 6-10 devices running at all times and have zero problems.

This device works and works well. The instructions are simply hopeless and a waste of time. Several pages of simple pap that leave you frustrated and lost. Search for the Netgear Genie on the Internet. I found it, downloaded it and got the router to fly. Running 150+ download now! Router made by geniuses, paper instructions made by the clueless.

No problems getting a good signal anywhere in the house and can reach outside in the yard
