It work as advertised. I am just an average user, no gaming. I recommend not using the QoS feature. Once I turned this feature off, no issues.

Great Wifi 5 router. Holds up well to several devices.

Got this to replace tri band router by net gear. It quit working within 2 yrs. this one is working just as well as tri band before it went out

It is too difficult to use the WPS. What hassle when you want to add s wifi extender.

I bought this Netgear to replace my old Linksys E2000 which still works great, but the range could be better. I noticed this Netgear drops my bandwidth literally in half when connected to the 2.4ghz, even standing 3 feet away from the router.. I tried channels 1, 6 & 11.. same thing... used different devices and they all do the same thing... cuts speed in half. I get 12-14 Mbps down instead of the normal 23-25 Mpbs I get when connected to the old Linksys E2000. The 5ghz works good though, no issues with that...but not all my devices are capable of 5ghz so I need the 2.4 to work well. I read so many reviews online about others complaining about the slow 2.4 wifi, but I decided to try it for myself.... I live in the country so I have no issues with interference as my neighbors are very far away and there are only 2 other wifi signals in my area which have very poor signal. I fooled around with the settings trying out different channels.. nothing worked...as soon as I turned ON and plugged my old Linksys back up... I got fast 2.4 wifi again... so this Netgear will be going back to the store.

Definitely happy with the choice we made to purchase this router. Haven't had any issues as of yet.

this is my second netgear router in a little under 10 years, its so easy to use and set up!

I bought this router after the salesman recommendation. Took a while but finally got it set up. Was difficult to get into the router to set up. After some research on the internet I got it going. After I got it set up it would work great on my wife's Macbook, but not mine. I connected to the router, but no internet. The next day it worked on both of our Macbooks. The next day mine worked and my wife's would not connect to the internet. When it worked it was lightning fast. I could find nothing wrong in the set ups. So I returned it to Best Buy. They were good about taking the return. I went my cable carrier and leased a modem for $5 per month. It set it self up immediately and had good instructions to get into the settings and rename.

This is a great router with excellent app support with your phone.

My purchase of the NETGEAR - Wireless-AC1750 Dual-Band Gigabit Router was a great buy.

Absolute WORST set-up ever on any electronic device I have purchased. Followed directions in App, and kept getting messages saying "invalid' this and that. Tried scanning the code from the packaging with my phone (as instructed), and once again, got "Invalid Code" message on App, after repeated attempts to read it with the camera. Finally got it set up and running after jumping through all of the hoops TWICE, in order to get it to take. No idea how well it's going to work, but the set - up experience was enough to earn only 2 stars - and that is assuming it DOES perform flawlessly from here on. Would not recommend anything using the Nighthawk App.

This router works great for home networking. I would recommend for anyone.
