Improved overall coverage. House has a lot of masonry so we have multiple dead spots. Helped with the major area. Went from one or zero bars to 1-2

I have previously used Netgear wireless extenders with satisfactory results in my home and would not hesitate to recommend their product offerings. I primarily use such devices to bridge my VOIP adapter in my basement to connect my telephone jacks throughout the home. The extender connects to a router one floor above.

The plug and play feature is excellent for those that don't know much about computers and other hardware, but the effectiveness of the product is a bit lacking. I won't return it but I might have bought something else had I known better.

I've had it for 3 months now and has worked great could never watch Netflix or stream anything in my bedroom due to low connectivity from my router being placed in my kitchen but now I've got a strong signal and enjoy my smart tv while being able to lay down in the comfort of my bedroom.

Have a brick house with modem in back corner. Wireless signal was always spotty at other end of house. No more! Signal now as strong as if was right next to modem. Easy to set up and small profile.

My signal strength was 4 of 5 bars on my computer. After purchasing Netgear my signal strength is now 5 of 5 bars all over my house.

I live in a two-story home with a finished basement. I had little signal strength in the basement. With one unit, I was able to extend the wifi signal throughout the whole house with solid reliability. There is also an option to use the device as a wireless bridge since an ethernet port is built into it.

I recently moved the modem and router down to the basment. I was having slight issues upstairs staying connected to the internet. This fix the issue! So far no problems.

I had been having several drop issues with streaming in the back of the house. I was looking at high end additions costing hundreds of dollars. I saw a review of this unit and for the price , what did i have to loose. It exceeded my expectations and has been working flawlessly for the last month. I now have 5g in my bedroom.

I purchased this wifi signal extender from a local bestbuy it works great in my home since it's a 2 floor house. Will recommend.

Just connected this to my router. One thing is I wish I didn’t have to connect to the extender when I move closer to it but it does extend the signal well.

The ease of setup wasn't terribly bad. I had a difficult time connecting my phone and tablet to it. Figuring out the problem took a little time but now I am delighted. Would recommend this product.

I needed a wi-fi range extender and came across this one at Best buy. Works great and the price was just right.

Not what I would say easy to set up. The Netgear extender kept wanting mt to scan a QR code...I did not have one to scan. I had to do the setup manually. Wouldn't connect. I had to keep going back and forth between my phone settings and the nighthawk app. I ended up having to turn off my cellular data and VPN on my phone to get this extender set up. I did finally manage, but like someone else's review I read, it was not a simple task and is not a plug and play kind of item. It does work though.

I had some problems with the wifi signal in some spots in my house but with this extender i can use the wifi in the whole house.

I needed the WiFi extender so that my second Echo would work in my bedroom which is far away from the router.

Just follow the included instructions. Truly plug and play!

Have a big house and was having dead spots. My wife is finishing her Masters online and was trouble when doing assignments and test. Very powerful and works great! First bought a Lynksys and never could get it to work. Took it back and got this one.

Installation was simple and easy. I was able to get WiFi for my tv which was my main concern but portable devices wouldn’t switch over like I would expect

It works. It extended the wifi range in an older house with lots of brick. Set-up was easy once accessed NETGEAR site. Instructions seem a little out of date. But NETGEAR website worked well.
