My wireless router is on 2nd at other end of house an extender is on 1st floor in my office at other end of house. About 100 ft between floors. Distance is too great for 5g but the other band works good and I get about 65mbs (comcast) by using the Ethernet port with my office PC.

We needed a product to extend the signal strength throughout the house and this works perfectly. Needed to contact technical support during installation as it was unclear where to enter the WEP key. Great support. Product has worked flawlessly since installation.

So simple to use. Just open it up and plug it into any standard wall outlet. Works like a dream. Now I can have Wi Fi in parts of my house that were previously unaccessible. Love it!

Very easy to set up and/or move to find the best placement for extending your wifi signal. Our equipment is located in our lower level and this addition gave us complete coverage on the main level as well, even outside on our front porch.

Was having trouble accessing our WiFi in our living room for my tablet. Router was in our office in the front of the house, and wifi signal was very weak in living room. Set this extender up in an outlet just out of living room and now have a very strong wifi signal.

Picked this up because I was having trouble getting online with my iPad! For the most part, it works pretty good! So not sure if the problem is related to COX or the Ipad

Easily sets up like any other extender. Just gott be sure to keep up to date with firmware updates and all will be good. Never needs resetting.

The setup was difficult as the directions were inadequate and I had to have Netgear tech support redo the installation with me, which was totally different than what was laid out on paper. The signal extension has given me inconsistent connection, even though the Netgear app mostly shows that I should have a strong signal. However, I'm still using it, but the jury is still out.

Though my Wi Fi unit located on the second floor seems to be strong enough for the whole house, I wanted to get this extender so that I could hard wire it directly to a Roku player located on the first floor. This was done through an Ethernet connection. Roku player worked great. Wi-Fi extender runs hot. An online consumer testing site just tore this unit up with it's review. But it did work for me at least for the Roku player. In the end, due to an electrical outlet conflict with other items needing this same outlet, I ended up buying an extender that sits on an end table and doesn't hog up the whole outlet.

Netgear continues its innovative ways by developing a Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender that works great. After some tests, I think it delivers a fair extension to any home. Not too expensive and not difficult to set up. A++ all the way.

I have cable internet coming into my house on the second floor so that’s where the modem/router is. My printer is in the basement. I needed a bridge to get the printer on wifi. Set this up on the first floor. Took five minutes, works flawlessly.
