Need to extend your WIFI? This is your best friend

The Netgear extender boost the signal to a decent level. Still not fast enough to do online gaming but the essentials are easily met.

Good, but the range isn't as advertised.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had a few dead spots in the upper level of the house, so we purchased this to extend the wifi, and while it largely worked, it doesn't exactly cover the amount of space it says it does. It's improved it for sure close to the extender, but as you move further, it definitely weakens, even inside the claimed coverage range.

If you already have a Netgear router, this extender doesnt use any additional SSID name. Invisible. Fixed devices in far reaching rooms will always latch onto this ext wifi sig.

Seems to be helping

No more weak wifi

It works Great! No more dropped Netflix. It was easy to set up, just pushed a button on my router and we were good to go!

Works like a charm now. Don’t know if the first unit was defective or me not following directions. Probably the latter
