Customer Ratings & Reviews

this is pretty easy to set up and works well in general, but watch out for possible contention with other devices on your network.

The router is on the opposite side of the house on the 1st floor.the extension is on the 2nd floor.just like the cable company said...just line up the extension midway straight from the router upstairs and I have full ping from barely 1 ping

This WiFi extender does a great job! It’s slmost like adding a whole new network. We use it exclusively for my wife’s work connections so she has her bandwidth and all the other connected devices have theirs. Good product for the money.

This really turned up the performance on my Wi-Fi in the backyard and was very easy to set up and use

Our modem is in the corner of the house on the first floor and we could never get wireless connection on the opposite side of house on second floor. The Net Gear extender was the solution to that issue and was very easy to install.

I went to Best Buy to purchase ink and thought I'd get something to improve WiFi. Asked an associate and he directed me to the products as well as answered questions. Made the purchase. Easy to setup. I believe it has improved my reception. Great item.

It is good but not as strong a I thought it would be. Still have a few times where I loose my connection. BUT it is much better!

We needed better Wi-Fi coverage in the house. This particular item fits the bill well and at a reasonable price. Good stuff.

Very easy setup. If you already have a Netgear router, this extender doesnt use any additional SSID name. Invisible. Fixed devices in far reaching rooms will always latch onto this ext wifi sig.

My son's wifi was constantly dropping in his room. After purchasing this product, this was no longer an issue. Works as expected.

We had a few dead spots in the upper level of the house, so we purchased this to extend the wifi, and while it largely worked, it doesn't exactly cover the amount of space it says it does. It's improved it for sure close to the extender, but as you move further, it definitely weakens, even inside the claimed coverage range.

Easy to set up and seems to have solved my internet problem in other parts of my home.

I already recommended it to a friend and we are both very happy with the product.

Works well, after reading instructions a few times I plugged it into a outlet that was halfway between the modem and the room that had the weak signal, and Boom no more weak signal. Im a simple guy who likes techie things and this worked well. $100.00 well spent.

Easy to install and has been very helpful. Wifi is now strong throughout my house

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this extender, but I'm glad I did. Our WiFi modem is on one end of our house, and our office and gameroom are on the other end. Now, our devices are always connected with a very strong signal!

I expected the Netgear AC750 Range Extender to extend the range of my router to provide a stronger WiFi signal to a computer located two rooms away from the router. The signal itself increased to a maximum of 5 bars BUT the data thru-put to my computer was DECREASED by half. In any words, the internet data took twice as long to be transmitted through the Netgear device as compared to the transmittal rate direct from the router.

We have 3 of these for our large home. No dead zones on our 3 floors!

Device works as expected. I have used other NETGEAR stuff and it all works well.

I notice a marked improvement in my cell phone reception in certain weak areas.
