Dead zones gone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this because we had a dead zone in our bedroom. This totally helped. Please note that this extender won't make your wifi stronger or faster. It will literally mimic the strength from the strongest part of your home.

Works OK
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to help with wi-fi coverage early during covid lockdown. Works ok, but not great and would have been a better decision to go with a mesh system (which we now have). Had issues with set up and had to track down an ethernet cable in order to reset it (known issue found via Google search).

Netgear Wi-Fi Extender
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moved into a 'SmartHome' and was having problem getting internet on upper level of home. This 'extender' provided cell phone access throughout the upper level of the home; router is in the basement. Would have given a 5 but had difficulty in set-up. Fortunately got Best Buy to come over to set up all systems in home along with the 'Extender'.

Easy Setup, Extends Network
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this extender because my main router signal was not reaching my Ring Floodlight Camera on the opposite end of the house, resulting in buffering, delays and poor video quality. I was already using a Netgear router, so this was a natural pairing. I used the WPS push button setup, it worked very quickly. Once I had the extender in place halfway between the two devices and connected the camera to the extender, quality was much improved. Note that if you use the WPS method, it will use your 2.4 GHz password for both the extended 2.4 and 5.0 GHz networks, rather than your 5.0 password for the 5.0 extended.
