Customer Ratings & Reviews

Wifi works well, had trouble with ethernet port. trying to extend internet into a metal building 150 ft from house. If computer was plugged directly into ethernet port on extender it worked well but if i try connecting a router to the Ethernet port it wont work. Works great as wifi extender or to give ONE non wifi device internet..

Recently subscribed to Amazon Prime. TV in Den but router in office, completely across home (2200 sq ft). Stream was constantly downloading (dreaded circle, no picture). Researched on line and liked the Netgear WiFi Extender, then went to Best Buy where I got great input on what I needed to purchase. Associate said it was really good, but I could still have problems since there is also a brick wall between my router and the den. She recommended I give it a try and if I still had issues to bring it back and she'd help me try another route. This one works perfectly and there is no interruption in down-loading/streaming at all. Can now use laptops in den with no issues too. I highly recommend this unit.

My son needed a WiFi range extender so he could play Fortnight in his room upstairs without it glitching. I was tired of hearing him complain and the Netgear was a good solution for a low price.

Definitely helps with dead spot area in house..not to expensive but works great

Great piece of technology. Easy to use.Good value for the price

I bought this range extender and it has worked well. It was easy to set up, though you have to be patient with the process. This makes our wifi equally accessible in the house.

So far this one is working great. It was very easy to set up. Had a linksys that worked good for about a year but then couldn't stay connected.

Good product that works well and was priced well. No issue setting up.

Highly recommend. Very easy to set up and small enough not to be obtrusive wherever you place it. Was having problems with tv in basement picking up signal-- totally solved.

Usually Netgear makes outstanding equip. This however did little to extend my wifi. It wasn't hard to set up but, it does create a "new" access point and not just extend your current wifi. That wasn't a big deal (just a name difference) but, only increased the speed from 13mps to 16mps at the other end of the house. Returned item to BB. 3mps increase not worth $85.

Excellent product.i have a big home so this product helps with expanding the wifi range

My new renovated man cave where I moved my toys needed a boost. Did the trick!

Was having trouble with the WiFi range in my house reaching my detached studio/office. Got this signal booster and it works great. The results are night and day, and I am back online.

Wi-Fi signal was very weak, took forever just to load a page & disconnected often. I paired it to the router that was over 100 feet away & now I have a full signal & can even stream videos. Amazing!

My wifi connection got better but the problem wasn't still 100 % solved. I ended up switching to much more expensive Linksys Velop.

It didn't work with my older router from Verizon but probably the issue is my with router

Bought this to enhance wi-fi connection in our house. It has helped but still have some issues. Not sure if it's the product or our house layout.

A good device to boost your WiFi signal though out your house.

Purchased one previously and this purchase was for family member to receive better boost at their home. Family member is satisfied and receiving better reception than before.

I use it in my garage to extend coverage to an external garage. Was easy enough to set up but I do have a lot of experience. Paired it with an Asus router.
