Great extension

There internet is very basic and the WiFi range is limited to their living room. With this extender the WiFi now reaches to the back rooms of the house, which is where all kids like to play. It gives just enough range without over extending.

With this device I did not have to have my internet provider connect another port in a separate room. Using this device instead and plugging it into an outlet on such room was a much affordable solution and actually works!

Not exactly what I thought

It works fine but if I go to opposite end of house, I have to log back on to main router to get full signal. Not a big deal but my wife doesn't like to have to switch networks back and forth. Solution for her would have been a more powerful router.

Trick is to find the right spot to locate it.....far enough from router to reach upstairs but close enough to still receive signal. May take trial and error. Best Buy guy was very helpful in picking out the right one for my pretty basic needs, and price was the same as on Amazon.

great performance and convenience
