Does what I need it to do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an old desktop computer that was wired by LAN to the original router. I needed to move it to another floor but didn't have LAN that far. This extender receives the wi-fi (wirelessly) from the original router and then provides a LAN connection to the computer. Maybe I should buy a new (wireless) computer, but this setup is working fine for now. It took several tries and some patience to synch it up the first time, but I figured it out eventually. Can't comment on the wi-fi range extension as I haven't used it that way yet.

Great product- works as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple and easy to set up- enhances router range. Note- speed and number of devices supported still depends on owning a high quality router.

Wife extender
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value but would still have issues with keeping my tv connected to the router. Had to continuously move the wifi extender closer or further away from router in order to get a good connection.

Solid Product, works as Wifi -> Ethernet adapter
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to use as a Hotspot -> Ethernet bridge. Mom works from home, and her work PC will only take Ethernet (work has WiFi disabled for "security"). We live in a rural area were internet outages are common, so we needed a backup solution. This bridges the hotspot connection, and allows connection to it via the ethernet port. We've occasionally had to reboot it, but considering it runs nearly 24/7 that's not a huge deal.

Quality Product, Good Price & It Works Flawlessly!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works! NETGEAR is considered HIGH QUALITY TECH, which it is. Originally I had extremely poor WIFI signal due to distance from router and concrete walls. I had an IT Tech (am not tech savvy) install the Range Extender. IT Tech took about 05 minutes to set-up. IT Tech related that set-up is really easy. Anyway, my WIFI speed in my den approximately doubled. Am extremely happy with the results and have had no problems.

EXTENDED WIFI RANGE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used to have a dead spot considering the location of the main router and this has solved the issue. We set it up plugged in the wall close to the main router and it took us about half an hour. The instruction mentioned about the option to set it up in the computer but that seemed to be more complicated when we tried. Once it is set up, we moved it to the location we want make the signal better (mainly use for the RING Camera outside) and it worked very well.
