I have the product halfway between the room I needed to get better wifi. It is placed in the middle of the house, so I thought it would give great signal strength to the whole home, but it doesn't.

This unit required the addition of another name. I replaced with Netgear Orbi. I now have full signal throughout my home, garage, and yard

Brought home this Netgear extender, plugged it in, downloaded Nighthawk app from Google play store, setup Netgear account, followed prompts, including firmware upgrade and voila! Unplugged device and moved it to middle of house. Now we have full wifi bars throughout the house! The Nighthawk app is pretty slow, so just be patient.

Easy Installation, but unreliable signal

Unit is easy to install, but signal is not consistent or reliable. If you want a quality extender, spend the extra money and purchase the Netgear AC1200...and yes I followed the instructions! :)
