    This extender does what it's advertised to do. Our main router was installed in one corner of the house by the cable company. This lets us get a good signal to the opposite corner. It's effective download speed is about 300 Mbps for us.

    I didn't like this device. It continued to jump speeds and it was just a pain to try to figure out. My network would continue to disappear. I may not know enough to fix the issue but it was a no go for me. I bought the apple router instead and loved it.
