Wi-Fi range exender

My one complaint would have to be that you can only use one per modem.

Exactly What I Needed

Set up was a little irritating, but that's cause I was trying to do it without connecting it to my router. Did exactly what I needed it to, extended my WiFi to my bedroom (which was a dead zone). I have excellent speed on my phone, smart TV & laptop.

Wouldn’t connect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My wife is working from home and I thought of getting her a consistent connection with a WiFi extender with office in next room and did research on them but not fully sure it would help or worth the added cost. I tried the Netgear AC750 (ex6100v2) dual band Mesh extender with Ethernet connection port and set up was not easy even for me. After finally getting it to set up I connected to the ext WiFi connection. Showed limited and unsecured network and reconnected/rebooted to make sure and got same exact error. This was on my Windows 8.1 then tried set up with my Windows 10 and also kept same IP address for easier connection but it kept disconnecting or limited. Connected Ethernet cable from router and speed was faster. Tried WiFi connection again and WiFi connection could not be found but extender shows strong connection. Turned off extender and was able to connect thru router. Only brand I tried and may try a different brand (non-mesh) with Ethernet port and that may(?) work and if not just stay with the longer cable from my router to my wife’s office. This wasn’t for me. Based on this experience it’s may be worth 2 stars.

It's ok
