I got this for my mother b/c she doesn't have the option for high speed internet and I didn't see the point for mesh routers with such slow speeds. I installed this Wi-Fi Extender and it did the trick. She is very happy.

The extender still isn't strong in the far end of my condo. Maybe I should try hardwired instead. I actually thought it might work this time

Previously we couldn't get a signal in our far bedroom. Once we used the product purchased we were all set.

Was able to extend the range of our wifi by almost double. Also with extra people in the house seem to help the wifi from bogging down as much.

First off, download the nitehawk app(however its spelled) follow all directions. It fixes your slow network, re associates all your devices with its faster connection, boom new network. No need to reconnect devices manually

range wasnt what i expected, but simple to setup and maybe it was the home's walls causing signal to be weak

My wife and I (both IT people with lots of experience with networks), tried to follow the instructions in the manual and even tried to use the wizard, to no avail. We ended up having to search the internet for help and found lots of people with similar challenges. In any event, after hours of trial and error, research, etc., we did get it working, but only on our guest networks (unsecured). Our primary high and low speed networks are secured in such a way that they can not be extended.

I have a two story home and in several locations the Wi-Fi signal was weak. I purchased Net Gears Range Extender. The best feature is the ability to plug it into a wall socket. The lights tell you how well you chose the location and how strong the signal becomes.

It improved the wifi signal toward the back of the house. I think the signal from the main router needs to be stronger to be more effective.

Only boosts the signal about 5 ft. Pain in the butt to set up.

It took several tries to connect and it keeps loosing connection.

For the price it’s a good product !! It extend the reach of internet in the house but reduces the speed of it as well

This works 98% of the time sometimes it loses internet connection but i reset and all is good. A slight pain in the butt, i am getting used to the inconvenience.

We cut the cord and needed more wifi power for our TV downstairs. Read about this online, and so far it is working great with our Apple TV. No more annoying buffering! Got it on sale at Best Buy, and my husband is impressed. I thought it was pretty easy to install, too.

Works pretty good. there is not a router in the living area and this allows for my daughters room to pick up the connection

Having a 2 story house and the router being on the 1st floor in the computer room really limited the strength of the WiFi. My room was neglected and it really effected playing video games online or just surfing the web. This extender REALLY works. Great purchase!

We have our wifi in one bedroom and the dual band extension is in the kitchen. Our wifi now works in all the rooms in the house

This Netgear WiFi Extender has been the perfect solution to reach weak signal areas that my Nighthawk router has not been able to cover reliably. Problem solved in 2 areas with the installation of 2 Netgear extenders in weak areas! I highly recommend. Very reliable!

Although I was not able to get the device to work using the online software, I was able to finally get it to recognize my network manually.

Ok product, wish it had more power.Good for smaller residences.Good product for smaller residences.
