In a 4-story house (from basement to 3rd floor), our router/modem was in the basement where the cable entered the house. We first tried this Range Extender on the 2nd floor, then the 3rd floor -- but we never found it to make a difference in wifi's speed or signal strength when on the 3rd floor. The same was true when we recently added a 2nd router/modem on the 2nd floor -- the Extender made no difference.

had a hard time setting up ,was not easy for me to understand but could have been me.

This extender definitely helped extend my wifi range to my outside pool area. Was reasonably priced and easy to setup.

Might need to check strength every now and then. You might also need to switch networks when you move from router to extender range.

In all the irony, I have a Netgear router acting as an access point, that I was going to use this product to "extend" the range of. It was pretty easy to get going, but in the end wasn't very reliable. I ended up moving my "access point" to a different location. I didn't expect much out of the AC750; my next investment will be two actual access point products.

Was super easy to set up with my router as both had one button connect. It effectively doubles the range of my WiFi. By putting router on one side and extender midway my whole house (2850sf) is now fully covered. Would recommend

Good value for purchase, and nice to have it for enhancing the WiFi in larger areas.

This product has helped however it has not completely solved our internet usage problem

I used this to strengthen my signal from the basement to the upstairs so fare no complaints.

I have purchased this same product in the past. It does exactly what it should - - boosts your reception. Specifically, the reception strength in my house is as strong in every room as the room where the modem is located.

Currently my router is located in the car garage and the extender helps some. I feel that the next size up will cure my problem.

The product does work (if you don't have cement walls).Also you have to be close in range for full extender.

The Netgear network extender is simple to set up. It more than doubled the range of the ISP supplied wifi. After the initial set up you can move multiple times and it remembers it's settings. It's a great product!
