The product does work (if you don't have cement walls).Also you have to be close in range for full extender.

Long range connects to your router and becomes your router signal easy to connect with the Nighthawk router comes in handy when your house is brick and long range for bigger houses

The Netgear network extender is simple to set up. It more than doubled the range of the ISP supplied wifi. After the initial set up you can move multiple times and it remembers it's settings. It's a great product!

Had an outdoor nestcam that kept dropping the wireless connection. Got this Netgear extender and it seems to have fixed the problem. Not too difficult to install as long as I followed the directions in the enclosed manual.

Not a single video conference call has dropped since installing this device! Working from home during weekdays & watching Netflix at night, this device is keeping my WiFi strong for both purposes.

Extends current signal however it does create new wifi connections which it didn't have to do that.

Did just what we wanted: Boosted wi-fi signal so we could stream movies on our main television even though inadequate router provided by Century-Tel used to leave us staring at spinning circles every few minutes.

I ended up returning this extender only because I did not need it. I just moved into a bigger apartment and thought I might. Netgear has a great reputation so I am sure this extender would have functioned perfectly.

Does fine to extend WiFi through several walls from my computer room to my living room television. It has a RJ45 ethernet port on it so you can extend a whole network. It's a bit bulky so it will cover most of an AC outlet. Setup is fairly easy.

Works well for our smart tv in our master bedroom down the hall from WiFi router.

This wall extender has helped with making my MLB.com streaming of games less cumbersome with less delays in streaming.

Purchased to extend my Wi-fi connection for an outside Wi-fi security camera. Works great and no problems with connectivity at all. It was pretty easy to set up and I highly recommend this extender.

The overall product quality is really good. The only reason why it's not exceptional is due to relatively higher price.

I had to place this in a rather awkward spot in order to get full strength wifi signals throughout the house.

A novice at this and needing a little direction, and after several attemps to "connect" the router and the extender, I was finally successful. The dual band would be great but for reasons unknown, I could only get the 2.4 ghz band to "extend". The 5ghz portion of unit would not connect. The single band works great, would be a four or five star product if both worked and set up was a bit easier. Other than that, it is. Good product.

I put the booster in my basement and my router is on the second floor. It does what it is supposed to do.

Works best with a Netgear router but will work with other brands, recommend this product!

I needed a wifi interface for my Linux workstation but didn't want to deal with Windows drivers. This let's me connect to my wifi using the built in gigabit interface, plus I get wifi range extension to boot.
