Needs to be close to the router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this thinking I could boost my signal. My router is downstairs on one side of the house and I am using my iPad one flight up and on the other side of the house. The signal was not strong enough to keep this extender. I returned item. I guess if you are closer to the router, it would be good.
