This was a waist of money. I still can't get it to work. If they say it's easy to install, don't believe it. I have tried on 3 different occasions spanning the coarse of almost 4 days and about 15 hours and no success. I had tech support in a chat room having me change all kinds of DNR this and that's and coding and routes and stuff I could not understand and right when I got a glimpse of hope that it might work, the app launched itself all on its own and kicked me right out of the chat room. Literally I lost the lady who was helping me. Ok, the instructions say there are two ways to connect the router. One is with your current wifi router if it supports WPS which my Nighthawk AC 3600 does and I tried this method 3 or 4 times and no connection. The other is to download the nighthawk app and connect it that way. That stupid app can't even find the darn thing. After 3 or 4 attempts with that, I got involved with tech support in a chat room. The lady seemed very knowledgeable and we did make some progress but as I said, the app launched itself from my phone while I was on the computer in a chat room. It was the oddest thing I have ever seen. All I can say is, maybe others have had success connecting this extender and found it easy but I did not and it still does not work. I will try tech support again to see if they can help. Also, I usually think that 99 percent of the time it is operator error and it's quite possible it is this time however, I have been using computers for almost 35 years now and have hooked up things from wifi sound systems to entire smart homes so I consider myself to be above average in the electronic department. Not the best but by far not the worse. Good luck to all if you decide to buy this extender.

This was a decent WiFi extender that helped us space kids out during virtual learning

I recently built a dedicated building for my wood shop and need connectivity. This extender works about 100 feet away.

I would recommend it. I purchased it for my parents house and immediately got another for mine.

Installed this device and went to the COMPUTER to activate. Had a few minor issues but these were worked out in a about 30 minutes and all was then working without an issue. Three weeks now and no problems , works as i had hoped it would !

Bought this product due to poor internet reception at the lake. Really seems to have boosted the net to other parts of the house.

Really good extender. Great if you live in a big house. And are far from your router

This Netgear is good for helping with wider range through out the house.

I was hoping this would extend my wifi signal to my bedroom but it did not so I returned it. I wanted an extender, but wound up getting a "mesh" extender. That may have been part of the problem.

I bought this to extend my wifi in my house but it even extends it outside down to my mail box, this works perfect!

When I bought this I asked if it comes with an Ethernet cord and was told it did. NO IT DOESNT! The associate just said it did so I would leave him alone. It's ok. I wish I had shopped around.

Really made a difference for the kids up stairs. Can see a big difference with the internet strength.

Everyone should have a range extender. They are helpful in hard to access areas and they are so convenient for travel and outdoor usage!

this extends the network through the house and into the basement and was just what i needed

We bought a second unit which now enables us to access our connection from the yard. Both are working great.

This item didn't really work well for me. I didn't see a difference in the distance of the internet signal and it was an unobstructed straight shot about 100 feet away.

There was a huge blind spot in my home in my basement. I added this wi-fi extender and no more poor wi-fi areas

Extended range into garage and far beyond into the yard. Exactly what we were looking for.

We struggled with having poor wifi service in our shop so we bought this extender and it has been great! Super easy setup, too!
