Really helped extend my internet signal. My ring doorbell was unusable.

Had trouble staying connected to the internet in different parts of the house when our main computer was connected. Problem solved!

I think it is a little too expencive, one can purchase less expencive product and do not buy insurance (I did, but why?)

We had a dead spot in the back of our house. This was a little different to set up but not impossible at all. Works perfect!

works good, once you thru the install and set up process. Not any real guidence, and you have to look on line. Would think they would include a set up sheet.

I brought this hoping it would help the internet signal upstairs but it did nothing. I’m not sure why but I wish I could return it but i waited too late.

We needed an extender as our modem was far from my office and so far it’s working fine.

I was having problems streaming to the smart tv. This took care of the issue. Real easy to install and affordable.

I needed what would appear as a wired network to an outside source and this worked perfectly, while extending my network.

This product does work. But is not as easy to set up as everyone says so read instructions first

Definitely better reception between floors. Works well with other models and simple enough for wps setup.

This unit works as described. You won’t get 150 upstairs but you will 50 or better. So I’m happy.

I keep having issues with my shaky ATT WIFI. I decided too see if a range extender would work. The best buy assoc. told me to try this one. Setup is supposed to work by pushing the WPS button on the side with the WPS button on your router but mine wouldn't set up like that. I had to do it the long way instead. The way the netgear people wrote the beginning of the internet setup (the long way) directions weren't exactly the easiest to understand. But once I realized what it was telling me to do - which is basically - just click on your WIFI icon on your computer (as if you were setting one up that's already set) once you click it, Netgear Extender device will automatically send you to the netgear website and the directions were EASY at that point. It pretty much tells you exactly what to do and reads all your WIFI settings, all you have to do is click a few buttons as confirmation and enter your router pass-code - that's really it. Then I simply unplugged the extender and put it in my living room and its doing as it should. I have even checked a few times at my wifi icon so I can compare the signal strength and sure enough in here the ATT signal show weak - when it bothers to show at all - but netgear is showing just fine. There was one episode where it seemed like I had disconnected from the extender, but I'm not sure if I accidentally did that when I was messing around in the WIFI icon settings because I clicked on some other choices accidentally and my computer will auto connect to anything that shows if you click on it. One thing I did notice is once you have the extender properly set - you want to put it as close as possible to the device / s you want to use with it ..... So the hardest problem I could see anyone having is if they don't understand the language being used for the set up if they cant do the button push - I would tell them - 1. Turn your laptop on 2. Click the WIFI icon that your laptop uses for easy WIFI setup 3. Laptop will go directly to Netgear site 4. Follow prompts It took me about 2 minutes that way - faster than the time I wasted trying to make the WPS easy push button work :) The second problem I could see someone having - is making sure they set the extender up within the range the wifi can get too - in other words - if you cant get any wifi service in room 4 - don't put the extender in room 4 - put it in room 1, 2 or 3 which is closer to your router, so it can pick up the signal then output the extra range :) - the internet shows you very specific pictures on this and explains how to look at the arrows on your extender for hotter (best spots) vs. colder (bad) spots.

It’s great. Works fine with my security cameras That can’t be reached by my main wifi router.
