    I use this device upstairs because my router is in the basement. When I connect to this range extender from the basement, the connection is awful. This "range" isn't impressive. I do like the ability to hardware a device to the extender.

    I like how discrete this product version is compare to the previous model. Technically, I'm not as thrilled. Received conflicting set-up instructions between Netgear and cable company. Time will tell if it was worth my investment.

    The 5G is still weak and doesn’t extend service more than one room away from the location of the device. The password is frequently dropped and has to be re-entered on devices or it won’t connect at all randomly.
