Just what I needed

Poor performance

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this unit so that my daughter would have stronger WiFi signal in her apartment bedroom, which is separated from the router by three rooms. We tried various locations in the room, but found none that would boost the signal or download speed at all. The WiFi signal came and went to the same extent with and without the unit. I returned it, and she makes do with the native signal. I give the unit 2 stars because it is possible that some of the problems were due to the proximity to so many other routers (and other range extenders) in her building and others nearby.
