    Bought this item to hopefully be able to provide adequate download speed to my smart TV as an extender on my NG R8000 wireless router. I tested my laptop in two different places for download and upload speeds, including very near the TV and this item just added about 1 Mb/sec in either location. I still can't get Netflix on my smart TV even though the app is there. I can get 4-5 other apps to work just fine. I'm thinking the problem is with the TV but really not sure.

    I have an older Netgear extender I was planning to replace with this one. The coverage is spotty at best and drops the signal quite a bit. I've been working from home and connected in the same room as the extender and it still drops the signal. This will be going back only nine days after purchase. So I gave it chance. I guess I'll keep using my old Netgear unit until it finally dies.
