What the extender basically does is create a separate wifi spot with better connection away from the original wifi router. It does as advertised, i get full bars of wifi. However, when streaming and video chatting, i find the quality to be laggy and pixelated from my original wifi. I don't lose connection but the quality is lacking. But i got this at a decent price but maybe i'll upgrade to a more expensive device (Orbi perhaps?).

I like the fact that the antenna can be positioned to my liking. It also provides a quality signal. I had some problems setting it up as an access point. It just wouldn’t let me get in the device itself. The biggest issue I encountered though was everytime I unplug it, the settings were wiped and I had to reconfigure everything again.
