Bad router

Connectivity with netgear router poor

We will be returning this item and purchasing a better wifi extender...

It extends, but wifi is spotty

I was aware that although the signal would extend, it may thin out strength. What I didn't expect was that it can't be placed that far from the original modem. Any outlet past 7 ft, and it shows 'red' meaning it's too far. And it frequently goes in and out of wifi. The only reason I'm keeping it, is because it's past the return date, and it does at least extend to the bedroom TV.
