Garbage

Internet in the back of the house is weak so I decided to pick this up to see if it would help. Guess what, this thing would connect to the wifi router but would not connect to the internet. I've tried NETGEAR forums and it appears to be an normal issue if you are a Spectrum customer. Going to have to spend the money and buy a new WIFI router. Was told to pick up the $300 TP-LINK WIFI 6 router.

Did not work - Unable to find solution

After looking online, it is a major problem with Netgear. I wish I discovered this issue during my return period.

We just moved into new house in brand new neighborhood and supposed to have fiber with much higher speeds. But it isn't consistent with or without this sonwe returned it. Again, not fault of product. I think our problem is the provider.

Best Buy wouldn’t even help me with the purchase so I’m sure they won’t help me troubleshoot the issue. On the way back for return. Wasted time.

Good and bads

Just don’t even attempt it it’s not worth it. Now if you plug in the Ethernet cable that’s providing the internet and then broadcasting WiFi -> excellent. In some cases better than my own att modem/router

WOULD NOT WORK TERRIBLE HELP DESK

IT WORKED WHEN I HAD A CABLE HOOKED UP BUT WOULD NOT WORK AS A WIFI REPEATER. CALLED THE HEPL DESK AND THEY COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHY IT WOULD NOT WORK. SINCE THIS WAS MY SECOND ONE I JUST RETURN IT AND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND FOUND ONE TO WORK.

Rest mulitple times and in the end gave up and returned. My router is good and doesn't drop often. It could be a had a faulty unit and might try this or another brand.
