Bought this for my son, who lives in a basement apartment. We had hoped it would increase his internet signal from the upstairs. It did not.

Had this up and running for a few weeks now. My internet reception with just my modem/router on both my smartphone and my computer was mediocre at best and I was hoping for a big change for the better, but instead it got worse. Now my smartphone is constantly searching for wifi and my computer is taking longer to open pages. My son who is very tech savvy helped to set this up. Maybe I got a defective unit so I will be exchanging it to see if it is the unit or the product.

We didn’t notice any improvement with the range extender so we purchased a new router which did the trick. Returned it back to the store.

Not so great. It took a min to get it connected and didn't add any range onto my router. I sent it back. Went with the eero system. Unfortunately the costly option.

We have a two story house with insulated floors and a metal roof. This extender did not work for us. We got a different Netgear product which did extend the signal to the second floor.

We bought these to help the wifi signal reach our new kiosk time clocks. 2 buildings right next to each other. Didn't work. I've also tried these at home with the same result.

Have not yet been able to get this to work. A friend of mine bought it and plugged it in at the end of his house. Worked great for him. Going to try once more .

either the equipment was defective or its a piece of expensive junk. followed the directions several times but never got a better signal

Opened multiple trouble tickets with Netgear to try and resolve issue with degradation of broadband speed when running traffic through extender. Working off of 5G channel on extender and speedtest on devices is half of the speeds I get on other devices linked directly to my ISP's WIFI router. Netgear's soutions have been to restart/reset router--no luck. Required some technical know-how to access admin features.

Netgear did not hit the mark with this extender. I returned it to the store about a month after buying it after I tried as hard as I could to make it work by experimenting with different configurations. The biggest issue I experienced was that the extender signal would drop and stop working which forced me to reset the device every day. Do not waste your time considering this product. I exchanged it for a Netgear powerline wi-fi extender, so far so good, stay tuned for that review...

Wanted an extender that would boost the existing network, not create a separate sub-network. Unfortunately, this and other similar units do not meet this need. However, this is likely fine for most people.

This unit did not do what I needed it to do. It received the signal from the router but when I tried to connect my computer or my phone to the Wi-Fi it didn't work.

Didn’t really add a lot of WiFi connection to my ring doorbell located just outside the wall where I plugged it in.

I returned the NETGEAR AC750 WiFi Range Extender because its performance was a small fraction of what I was getting with my old NETGEAR WN3000RP WiFi Range Extender. (Typical example: download speeds of 1.5 mbps with AC750, but 20+ mbps with WN3000RP) I also do not like the "One Network Name" feature used by the AC750. That just creates confusion about exactly which signal my client device is connecting to.

Device constantly changes Nat Type. Terrible for wired connection. Device is a joke in this day and age of technology. Most importantly Best Buy’s service with getting me the product was embarrassing. They lied about tracking the order, store inventory, the card that paid for the product and tracking information. Major companies like Best Buy do bare minimum to make profit off consumers that have little option for electronics

Did not work as well as i was expecting it to. The device was on the first floor with my apple tv and my router was on the second floor. i still had trouble with my connection

Had to also return this as it did not reach to the back bedroom. l live in a two bedroom apartment. It just would reach.

I was trying to find a cost effective way to extend my wireless coverage to the far end of my home. Installation was easy, but performance is miserable. When connected to this, speed is less than half of the speed of the main network it is supposed to extend. I waited too long to take it back, so now it is only used for a wireless printer that doesn't need a high speed network. Save your money and buy a wireless mesh system if performance is important to you.

I bought it to try to extend my exsisting Wi-Fi signal..it actually does that but not the camera I origionally purchased it for. my cameras don't have a consistent signal..

This was very difficult for me to hook up. I finally managed and now we are getting kicked off wi-fi and have to reconnect. Not a good fit for me.
