It worked quite well until the 14 days to return it had passed and then it froze my entire wifi network repeatedly. And Best Buy refused to take it back. They told me that I should have bought their insurance package. So, I would be spending an additional $10 to replace a crappy product that they should have taken back. Makes no sense to me. As a result, this was my last visit to BestBuy for anything.

This device was a waste of time and money. It never connected to my router and the customer support was horrible.

I return this extender after a few hours. my speed did not change being 2 ft away from it. it was pretty useless. I think I'll look for a wifi mesh instead.

Installation was fairly straight forward. I just do not find that it increased the wi-fi signal strength in our sunroom. It's still about the same. Perhaps I expected too much.

The unit did not work and when I went to exchange it, I was belittled by an employee who told me that I needed to spend $400 on something else that I had never heard of because what I had really was old technology. My IT company told me to get that. I’ll go with them. This product was defective. We purchased from another retail outlet and everything works great.

I went on the internet seeking support from NETGEAR for this wireless range extender. Their web page had a fraudulent phone number on it. After dialing the support number, I reached what I thought was the NETGEAR service department, which was instead a criminal enterprise that gained access to our computer. They proceeded to make fraudulent money transfers in our name. NETGEAR does not have adequate support. Do not trust any phone number that appears on a NETGEAR web page.

Bought this so I could relocate my wifi security system to a location where all cameras would connect to the wifi. My system home hub connects via ethernet. The problem is this piece of junk needs to be connected via wifi to another running device at all times for the ethernet access point to work. So when your home device hibernates, or you leave and take.it with you, the ethernet port quits working and the system goes offline rendering it useless.

We bought this for my girlfriends home and it didn't make a difference in her reception. The price was ok. We ended up returning these and got a higher band with product.

Ever since I installed this device my WiFi has become slow and unreliable. Signal keeps dropping and download speeds are abysmal. Taking it back.

Have issues with WI-FI signal and bought the extender to solve the problem, however, the difference is practically undetectable.

I had to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in every so often cause it would just stop working. Eventually switched to a different kind of extender.

Did not work for me I feel like it made my connection even worse.

We tried this for my grandson, but he told us this just didn't work for his so we took it back and bought something different and it works great.

Garbage garbage garbage. You never know the issue with it. It could be all green just for your devices to have no internet connection. Waste of time and effort to set this thing up for it to just work whenever. I have to time my work on the whims of plastic box.

Had issues keeping the Wi-Fi Range extender connected to the modem. The signal was very weak and wasn't worth it.

I got this for my house to extend the wifi to the other half of the house. It was not able to do the job. I had to return and buy another extender.

Didn't work for what I needed. Returned for Google nest which covered more area. Needed stronger wifi in basement.

Had issues with this seeming to make much of a difference at all with the WiFi signal in my house AT ALL!

I purchased this to extend wifi to a part of our house that the modem did not reach. It only seems to work sometimes and it's not very fast. I was hoping for better.

This item did not work for me. I thought this item extend extend my Internet around my home and I did not.
