Lost connection during set-up

I had some of my friends say that extenders did work for them but this one made sure that I switched over to mesh instead of extenders. It wouldn’t even stay on for me to even attempt to connect it to my modem and router. I would not recommend.

Disappointed

Directions included with unit are well thought out and simple to follow. Once set up was complete. I found the spot in the room where everything was 100% strength. My devices show 100% WiFi connection BUT with ZERO ability to function on WiFi at all. Complete waste of $. Don’t bother.

After 3 lengthy support services phone calls to India I was assured that the device was working. It was in my home office and it did not improve my wi-fi for Zoom meetings. I had to move to my kitchen to do the Zoom meetings. I have returned the product to the store.

Unable to get product to connect to network

Reaching the website to set up is next to impossib

The issue is setting it up. It's almost impossible to get to the internet website to do so and if you're out of the free service time period, the people at customer service are less than accommodating for something that should be very simple. I will never buy another one of their products again.

Didn’t Help
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When using as directed it seemed to interfere with our existing WiFi for other users in the house, when it was plugged into an upstairs bedroom. It did seem to boost the signal for the person in that bedroom, but caused problems for other users when they were trying to use it in other locations upstairs. When two people were connected to the NetGear, it couldn’t handle having two people connected and still giving good connection.
