Will not hook up to my WiFi and when I called netgear for help they wanted to charge me an extra $70 to hook it up after I paid $80 for the product. It’s now collecting dust on my desk

I used the device for a while, but it did not extend the wifi, so I am not using it anymore. I would not recommend anyone purchasing this if they think it will help extend wifi.

Spent hours trying to get this to work. Called net gear. They required $99 payment to help me troubleshoot. Googled issue , couldn’t get it to work so returned product.

It does not work as advertised. Difficult to configure, the extended network does not stay up and running, can slow down the network in your home as well. Don't waste your money.

This item is very difficult to set up. When we purchased it they made it sound like it was extremely easy. We still can’t put a password on it. So now anyone can use the WiFi which just slows it down

I wasn't real happy with this item. Didn't do the trick and extend my range where I wanted it. Actually didn't extend the range at all.

Piece of junk. Did nothing to extend my WiFi. Spent hours with tech support and messing around with it to end up with worse internet then what I had

This device not only didn't extend the range, it interfered. I've used other range extenders by Net Gear and they worked fine. We returned it without any hassle from Best Buy

Does not work. I live in a 1200 sqf townhome my router is downstairs in the living room and I was still not able to connect to wifi upstairs.

Wi Fi Range still the same, no difference internet still slow in my office. I was told that it would improve my connection and speed up my Wi Fi .

Not the easiest thing to setup. I called tech support for help and was told I need to purchase internet security for $99. Needless to say I didn’t use it and was out the cost of the product

This device slowed the internet speed down by more than half. Returned it and bought a mesh (eero) device.

We purchased this in order to boost our in-home wireless. It did not meet the requirements. That is not the fault of the product, it just did not work for what we needed.

I mainly got this for phone WiFi coverage. But after setting it up (which was fairly simple), the phones kept losing the WiFi signal. Maybe it was an issue with our brand of phones, but I ended up taking it back.

This is worthless. It slowed everything down. Don't waste your money. It's easy to use (just plug it in) but it just doesn't work!

Boosts signal but when signal is weak to begin with, does not actually provider a better connection. Took it back to Best Buy and got the Google Wifi instead, which fixed the dead spots in my house.

Quite possibly the largest waste of money ever. Doesn’t work as it’s supposed too. Weakens the signal and slows your wifi down to snail speed.

We bought Wifi Extender as there was no coverage in the middle room of the 3rd level of the house. Router is in the 2nd level. So total wastage of money.

It’s sucked. Simple as that what else do you want me to say. Go buy it use it and you tell me how well it worked. Crappy products in a crappy company

only worked for a short while. not sure what happened, but stopped working. then when called to have it fix, they wanted to charge me. never used again. hired geek squad for a better solution.
