Wifi extender inefficient

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first tried using an Apple Airport Express as an extender, but I returned it because it wasn't doing what I needed it to do. I bought this extender next and it did the job! The router is on the first floor on one side of the house, and I needed the wifi on the complete other side of the house and up another floor. I gave it 4 stars because the wifi isn't full bars as I'd like it to be, but that's not surprising since I'm getting the signal from a range extender. Nonetheless, it does the job and the speed is still pretty fast. It was also easy to setup, it just took a little to figure out where to put it for optimal results. If I ever have to buy a wifi range extender again in the future, I'd buy this one again for sure! Highly recommended!
